Notification of allotment of working hours on three shift basis for shop staff working in all Government Medical Colleges, Hospitals, Primary Health Centres.
The Secretary of the Department of Medicine and Welfare has issued an order to allocate working hours on three shifts to the Nursing Assistants (Grade 2) and shop staff, medical workers and sanitation workers working in Government Medical Colleges, Government Hospitals and Primary Health Centers under the Medical and Welfare Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Working hours are allotted on three shift basis namely 6 AM to 1 AM, 1 PM to 9 PM, 8 PM to 6 AM.
It is recommended that 50 percent of the total workforce should be employed in 1st shift, 25 percent in 2nd shift and 25 percent in 3rd shift.
