Andhra pradesh: There has been a stir in Andhra Pradesh after 4 containers carrying Rs 2,000 crore were caught.
As Andhra Pradesh elections are scheduled to be held on May 13, flying force officers are engaged in intensive vehicle checks. In this case, they were engaged in checking vehicles near Kajirampalli check post in Ananthapuram district of Andhra Pradesh.
Then, the officers who checked the 4 container lorries that came in succession in the area were shocked to find that there was cash in them.
Rs 2,000 crore cash was found in the four containers checked by the Andhra Police. Later, investigation revealed that this money belongs to RBI.
In other words, when the money was being transported from Kochi in Kerala state to Hyderabad, it was revealed that the money was caught in the vehicle inspection at Gajrampalli. Investigation clarified that the containers were going from Cochin RBI to Hyderabad RBI as there were relevant documents for the money.
Accordingly, the lorries were reportedly released after verification of documents confirmed that they had transported Rs 500 crore to ICICI Bank in Hyderabad, Rs 1,000 crore to Federal Bank and Rs 500 crore to HDFC Bank.
