A complaint was lodged at Talawakkala police station on Monday last month (15) by their parents that 4 boys from Great Weston Lusa Estate, Talawakkalai went out on Sunday evening last month (14) and did not return home.
Based on this, Thalawakkalai police who conducted investigations found the four boys working in a private company in Colombo.
According to this, a relative of one of the four children said to be missing has arranged employment and accommodation facilities for the said four children in a professional company in Colombo. In this case, they were found yesterday (03) and brought to Talawakkala police station today (04) in the investigation carried out by the police based on the phone numbers and conversations, Samantha Perera, the officer in charge of Talawakkala police station said.
According to the parents, the woman, who has got a job in Colombo, has been pretending not to see the children in question and has been talking to the parents of the children several times through telephone conversations.
However, the police have arrested 3 suspects, including two women and a man, who are suspected of taking the said 4 boys to work and have taken steps to present them in the Nuwara Eliya District Court tomorrow (05).
After investigating the 4 children separately, their parents will be called to the police station and handed over.
Thalawakala police are conducting further investigations.
