4 persons including famous rowdy Dio Karthik have been arrested in Andhra Pradesh in connection with the incident where a country bomb was thrown at the house of a DMK official near Cholavaram. Two more arrested and police interrogated.
Jegan (38) is the husband of Abisha Priya Varshini, the vice president of Cholavaram Panchayat Council, Tiruvallur District. He is the Deputy Organizer of Cholavaram South Union DMK Youth. He is also doing real estate business.
The same people who threw a country bomb at DMK leader Jagan’s house, entered the house of Venkatesan’s sons, Saranraj and Sundar, who are dealing in hollow block stones and water cans in Siruniyam area, slashed their cars parked there and the cars of those who came to buy water cans with sickles, slashed the windows of the house with sickles, and the two parked cars. They also damaged the wheeled vehicle.
Similarly, the gang, which threw a bomb at a truck stop on the Chennai-Kolkotta National Highway, also cut the truck driver Siva, who came out after hearing the noise, with a sickle and fled.
The Cholavaram police department is investigating the complaint filed by the victims. The incidents may have happened due to industrial competition and ongoing investigation is underway as to whether the raiders demanded money from the real estate industry and construction material suppliers and threw country bombs.
In the meantime, Andhra special forces have rushed to arrest the main criminals and have arrested 4 people including the famous rowdy Deo Karthik. Deo Karthik, Suresh and Vicky were arrested by the Special Police Force in Andhra Pradesh and brought to Tamil Nadu.
Also, Cholavaram police are actively investigating two suspects, Ajith Kumar and Nitheeswaran, in connection with the country bomb incident. According to the police, the persons arrested in Andhra Pradesh will be brought to the Cholavaram police station for questioning and then produced in the court.
