Check at Coimbatore Railway Station:
In this way, the Gutka smuggled at the Coimbatore railway station has been caught in the tough search that is currently being conducted at the railway stations.
After receiving information about the smuggling of ganja and gutka by train from the northern states, the police conducted a thorough search at the Coimbatore railway station and seized 50 kg of gutka.
Railway police and district police are conducting raids at various railway stations in Tamil Nadu based on the information received by the railway police about the smuggling of ganja and gutka from northern states to Tamil Nadu.
Seizure of 50 kg Gutka:
As part of that, the Coimbatore Metropolitan Police and the Railway Police conducted checks on trains coming from the northern state at the Coimbatore Railway Station. The belongings of the passengers traveling in the train were also searched.
After it was revealed that they were selling Gutka products worth about 50 kg, the police have arrested more than ten people from the northern state and are going to take them to the police station for investigation.
