50 percent reservation will be raised; Rahul Gandhi confirmed in Madhya Pradesh

Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday said that the Congress party, if it comes to power at the Centre, will do away with the 50 per cent reservation in the interests of the people.

“I want to tell you from this stage that we are going to stop taking away (the talk of) reservation and increase it to more than 50 percent. The court has fixed the reservation limit at 50 per cent,” he said at an election rally in Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam.

Gandhi also said that the BJP-led NDA won’t even get 150 seats in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Batting for the Jatiwari census, he pointed out that these elections were held to save the Constitution which the ruling party and the RSS wanted to change.

“BJP leaders have made it clear that they will change the book (constitution). They have given the slogan ‘Apki Baar, 400 Baar’.
Let alone 400, they won’t even get 150 seats. BJP and RSS are trying to throw away, change and throw away the constitution just to save these Lok Sabha elections.

I will strive to provide reservation to tribals, dalits and OBCs as per their needs.

Talking about the Indian alliance, Rahul said that if they come to power, they will carry out a caste-based census and an “economic census for the betterment of the poor from tribals, dalits, OBCs and general castes”.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi He added that the Congress and the opposition Indian Alliance were protecting the constitution and wanted to take away people’s rights. Their leaders have said that they will take away the reservation given to tribals, Dalits and OBCs,” Gandhi said.

He added that the Congress government would strive to provide reservation to tribals, Dalits and OBCs as per their needs.

Rahul Gandhi said he would increase the Congress’s contribution under the Mahatma Gandhi National Urban Employment Scheme
The Congress leader also said that if the Congress party comes to power, the wage under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) will be increased from Rs 250 to Rs 400.

Last month, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also promised to raise the minimum wage under MGNREGA to Rs 400 if the party forms the next government.

PM Modi lied about giving jobs to two crore people (youths per year):

Stating that unemployment in the country is at its highest level in the last 45 years, Rahul accused Prime Minister Modi of lying that his government is providing jobs to two crore people (youths annually). Modiji has looked after only 22 billionaire industrialists and waived off their loans worth lakhs of crores.

He also said that the opposition government would deposit Rs 1 lakh in the account of poor women to make them millionaires.

According to his address, one lakh (per annum) will be given under the Mahalakshmi Yojana scheme till the family of a poor woman is lifted out of poverty. “As part of the scheme, a woman will be given Rs 8,500 per month,” he said.

Gandhi also said that India Bloc, once in power, would enact legislation to ensure minimum support price (MSP) for farmers’ produce. He said that once our government is formed, we will waive the farmers’ loans.
