Accordingly, today (17.05.2024) Cyclone winds may blow at a speed of 40 to 45 kmph and intermittently at a speed of 55 kmph in the Kumari Sea region, Gulf of Mannar and adjacent South-East Coastal Region, South Kerala Coastal Region, South West Bengal Sea Region adjacent to the Sri Lankan Coastal Region.
Tomorrow (18.05.2024) Cyclone winds with a speed of 40 to 45 kmph and intermittent speed of 55 kmph are likely to occur in the Kumari Sea region, Gulf of Mannar and adjoining south-eastern coastal areas, Kerala coastal areas, South-West Bay of Bengal adjacent to the Sri Lankan coastal areas.
Also, from 19th to 21st, the Cyclone winds may blow at a speed of 40 to 45 kmph and intermittently at a speed of 55 kmph in the areas of the Kumari Sea, Gulf of Mannar and the adjacent southeast coasts, Kerala Karnataka coastal areas, South West Bengal Sea adjacent to the Sri Lankan coasts. In this case, fishermen are advised not to go to these areas on the above-mentioned days.
