In the first semi-final match to be held today, the teams of South Africa and Afghanistan played a multi-test. Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan won the toss and chose to bowl first. Following this, the South African team bowled first. Only Azmatullah Omarzai scored 10 runs in the Afghanistan team. Other players did not even cross a single target. In the end the team lost all wickets in 11.3 overs and were all out for 56 runs. On the bowling side, Phatrice Samsey took 3 wickets and Marco Janssen took 3 wickets. South Africa will then bat second with an easy target of 57 runs to win.
