Chennai: Polling for the 5th phase of the Lok Sabha elections will be held tomorrow.
So far 4 phases of voting for the 543 parliamentary constituencies in the country have been completed. Elections have been completed in 379 constituencies so far. For the rest of the blocks, it will be held tomorrow (May 20), 25 and June 1.
Tomorrow (May 20), the 5th phase of elections will be held in only 49 constituencies in 8 states. As usual, polling will start tomorrow at 7 am and will end at 6 pm. A total of 695 candidates are in the fray.
Young Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli, Union Minister Smriti Irani in Amethi constituency, Union Minister Rajnath Singh in Lucknow, Union Minister Piyush Goyal in Maharashtra’s Mumbai North constituency are the star candidates.

Uttar Pradesh – 14 modules. Out of the total 80 constituencies, the election has been completed in 39 constituencies so far.
Maharashtra – 13 volumes. Out of the total 48 constituencies, the election has been completed in 35 constituencies so far.
West Bengal – 7 constituencies. Out of the total 42 constituencies, the election has been completed in 18 constituencies so far.
Bihar – 5 modules. Out of the total 40 constituencies, the election has been completed in 19 constituencies so far.
Odisha – 5 modules. Out of total 21 constituencies, elections have been completed in 4 constituencies so far.
Jharkhand – 3 modules. Out of the total 14 constituencies, elections have been completed in 4 constituencies so far.
Jammu and Kashmir – 1 volume. Out of the total 5 constituencies, the election has been completed in 4 constituencies so far.
Ladakh – Only one constituency is going to have an election tomorrow (May 20).
