7.25% interest; SBI New FD Scheme: Do you know Amrit Vrishti?

SBI Amrit Vrishti | Date Bank of India (SBI) has launched a special deposit scheme “Amrit Vrishti” offering 7.25 per cent interest for 444 days of deposits.
In this scheme, senior citizens also get an additional 0.50 percent interest rate. Earlier, Bank of Baroda (BoB) and Bank of Maharashtra have also introduced special deposit schemes.

Bank of Baroda’s special scheme named “BoB Monsoon Dhamaka Deposit Scheme” offers interest rates of 7.25 per cent for 399 days and Rs. It also offers 7.15 percent per annum for 333 days on deposits below Rs 3 crore.
Meanwhile, Bank of Maharashtra’s special scheme has four choices for depositing up to Rs 10 crore.
It offers interest up to 6.90 percent for 200 days, 7.10 percent for 400 days, 7.15 percent for 666 days and 7.25 percent for 777 days.

Regarding this, SBI Chairman Dinesh Kara said, “SBI’s Amrit Vrishti Special Deposit Scheme will be available for investment till March 31, 2025. It is a new variant of term deposit scheme designed to meet the needs of various customers.”
