Plan to construct a flyover
People used to go to Tirupur, Chennai, Salem, Erode, Bengaluru and other places through this road. Due to this there was heavy traffic from morning to evening.
In order to solve this, during the AIADMK regime, funds were allocated for the construction of a flyover for a distance of about 10 kilometers from the Avinasi Road Uppilipalayam signal to Gold Wins and all the work was started.
Land acquisition works
This flyover was built on the basis of long span flyover. For this, all the work is being done at the cost of crores of rupees. Apart from this, as land has to be acquired on both sides of Avinasi Road, that work is also going on at a fast pace.
Tall buildings
In this case, the study revealed that there are about 500 high constructions in the flyover construction area.

Connection works
Motorists are suffering severely due to heavy traffic congestion at the place where the flyover works are taking place. It is said that while the construction of the pillars is fully completed, the connection work is taking more time.
People of Coimbatore are relieved
Currently, it is said that 70 percent of the work on this flyover has been completed and the rest of the work is scheduled to be completed by the end of December. All the people of Coimbatore are relieved as it will be completed within this year.
