AV Mukesh (34) hails from Palakkad, Kerala. He, who is working as the chief photographer of Palakkad district Matharbhoomi magazine, came to know about the presence of elephants in Kotagadu area on the Palakkad side this morning and went there to take photographs.
Then he was attacked by an elephant who was taking pictures while crossing the river there. Mukesh was seriously injured and was taken to Palakkad Government Hospital for treatment. He was given intensive treatment there, but died in vain.
Mukesh in Delhi too ,He has worked as chief photographer for Mathar Bhumi magazine. Journalists’ associations in Palakkad mourned his death,Senior Generalist Club, Coimbatore,Journalists associations including expressed sympathy. A request has been made that the Kerala government should provide financial assistance to the family of a photographer who died after being attacked by an elephant.
