Naam Tamilar Party coordinator Seeman has said that no one should raise questions about the irregularities in government departments under the DMK regime.
In a statement issued by him in this regard, “The news of a murderous attack on Bertin Rayan, a social activist who has been fighting a public interest case under the Right to Information Act regarding buildings built in violation of government rules and encroachment of alien lands in Tirunelveli district is shocking. Even after 10 days of the attack, no action has been taken against the culprits.
This clearly shows the extent to which law and order has deteriorated in Tamil Nadu. Under the DMK regime, it has been a situation where no one should raise questions about the irregularities in the government departments. The Dravidian model of government is going on in the government where false accusations are made and torture is done and the mercenaries are killed.
DMK’s 3-year track record is this kind of atrocities that make a mockery of law and order. Therefore, the government should quickly arrest those who carried out the murderous attack on the social activist from Tirunelveli. The Tamil Nadu government should take action so that people’s rights activists are not attacked any more,” it said.
