The price of gold in Chennai has been experiencing ups and downs for the past few days. On Monday, the price of ornamental gold rose by Rs 400 per sawan to Rs 55,200 per sawan.
On Tuesday, the price of ornamental gold fell by Rs 320 a sawan to Rs 54,880 a sawan. Gold prices continued to trade at the previous day’s prices the day before yesterday. Yesterday, the price of ornamental gold fell by Rs.880 per sawan to Rs.54,000 per sawan.
In this situation, the price of gold has decreased significantly today. The price of ornamental gold has dropped by Rs.800 per sawan and is being sold at Rs.53,200 per sawan. Similarly, the price of one gram of ornamental gold has decreased by Rs.110 and is being sold at Rs.6,750. Silver prices fell by Rs 3.30 per gram to Rs 97 per gram and a bar of silver sold at Rs 97,000.
