36Today (02) a protest demonstration was carried out in front of the Eastern Provincial Council based on the demand of ‘Provide employment to all graduates without discrimination’ by the Trincomalee District Unemployed Graduates Union.
The graduates who were participating in the protest carried placards and chanted slogans such as “Don’t make us graduate with dreams fight with tears”, “Are we starving today after going to university?”
Later, they walked towards the governor’s office and handed over the magazine containing their demands to the governor’s secretary.
