Ani Therthiru Vijam was held this morning at the famous Rajavallipuram – Seppara Arulmiku Ajayakoothar temple located in Nellai district with much fanfare.
Beautiful Kouthar Temple
A large number of devotees participated in the Chariot festival held at the beautiful Kouthar Temple of Seppara, Rajavallipuram, Nellai District.
Nellaiyapp – Gandhimati
On the northern side of Nellai Thamiraparani river bank is located the beautiful Kouthar Temple of Sepparai. Here Nellayapp-Gandhmati Ambal, the patron saint, blesses the devotees and presents a spectacle.
Nataraja Shrine
The Nataraja shrine here is known as Tamira Sabha. This Nataraja shrine is special because Lord Shiva gave his dance darshan to Lord Vishnu, Lord Agni, Agathiyar, Vama Devarishi and King of Manapat Veedu.
Beautiful hair
The idol of Nataraja here was made during the reign of the Chola king Hiranyavarman. Seeing the beauty of this Nataraja murthy, the king melted into beautiful skin, so beautiful skin became the name of the Lord.
Ani festival
In this situation, the Ani festival started with flag hoisting on the 3rd of the beautiful Kouthar temple in Sepparai, one of the famous temples in Tamil Nadu.
Election Day
In this 10-day festival, one of the pinnacle events, the therthiru-vizha, was held on the 9th day with much fanfare. For this the temple walk was opened early in the morning. A special Abhishek Akara Deeparadan was held for Lord Nataraja.
Lord Nataraja
This was followed by the singing of Tiruvembavai songs. Lord Nataraja appeared in Theru on a copper shield. Subsequently, special pujas were conducted to the beautiful Kootar Swami in special decorations at Thiruther. Then the devotees pulled the chariot by a rope.
Arokhara Gosham
Thiruther temple crawled in all four ratha streets. Chariots are drawn with chanting of Arokhara by the devotees and the station is added again. Thousands of devotees participated in this program and had darshan of the beautiful Koudhar Swamy.
