Paris Olympics: Manu Bhakar qualified for the Indian team in the finals of the 25m Air Pistol category held today on the 8th day of the Olympic Games in Paris.
He played in this tournament hoping to win the 3rd medal for India and create another historic record, finishing 4th and missing the medal by 4 points. Thus, his great chance of a medal in ‘Just Miss’ was lost.
Also, at the end of the tournament, Korea’s Yan Ji won the gold medal. He was followed by Jedre Zewski who won the silver medal at the Games in France. Also, Hungary’s Veronika Major finished third and won the bronze medal.
