A 22-year-old youth has been elected to Parliament in the recently concluded British (uk) general election.
Critics say that Sam Carling, who won the election representing the Labor Party, will be called a “child of parliament”.
He won the North West Cambridgeshire constituency with a majority of 39 votes.
Sam, a graduate of Cambridge University, defeated Shailesh Vara, who served as an MP for around 22 years.
Describing his victory as a “political earthquake”, Sam said he hoped more young people would enter politics.
