25In Jaffna, a postal worker’s house was torched by a violent mob.
Maruthangeni police said that yesterday (06) the house of a postal worker belonging to Aliyawela area of Dihulai Aliyawela area of Jaffna was set on fire yesterday (06).
The postal worker was out with his wife and child when a violent mob broke into the house and set the house on fire and fled.
It is noted that the Maruthangeni Police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
