Telangana: On the way to pick up Rakhi for her brother, a pregnant woman went into labor and the conductor and the bus nurse attended to the delivery.
A passenger who was traveling in a government bus on Gadwal-Wanaparthi route in Telangana state suddenly felt pain in a pregnant woman. Bharti, the conductor, came to know about this and alerted the driver and passengers about the condition of the pregnant passenger and immediately asked for help.
As there was no hospital nearby, the bus stopped immediately when fellow passengers asked them to stop the bus. At that time, a nurse who was traveling in the bus, along with the conductor Bharti, gave birth to the pregnant woman. Sandhya gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
Following this, he was taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment. There, it was found that the health of the mother and the newborn baby were stable. The incident took place on the eve of Raksha Bandhan when he was on a bus to tie a rakhi to his brother.
