The dead body and her handbag of a 25-year-old woman named Nateskumar Vinothini, who was reported missing from a dilapidated well in Klivetti village under Muthur police division, have been recovered by the police today (5).
The dead body of the woman was recovered today (05) when the police investigated the missing complaint at Muthur Police Station and dug the suspicious well in the presence of Muthur Court Judge Mrs. HM Tasneem Pousan and Sudden Death Investigation Officer.
Later, the dead body has been sent to Trincomalee for post-mortem.
Muthur police are conducting further investigations in this regard.
