36President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed Justice R. as the Deputy Chairman of the Court of Appeal. M. Sobitha Rajakaruna has been appointed.
Acting President of Appellate Court R.M. Sobita Rajakaruna took oath of office today (16) in the presence of President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Office.
This appointment has been given until Nishshanka Bandula Karunaratne, who served as the President of the Court of Appeal, returns to the country while he has gone abroad.
President’s Secretary Saman Ekkanayak also attended the event.
