- Shrimp = 500 grams
- Turmeric powder = 1 half spoon
- Chilli powder = 2 tbsp
- Coriander powder = 2 spoons
- Biryani masala = 1 spoon

- Ginger garlic paste = 2 tbsp
- Green chillies =2
- Mint Coriander =1 handful
- Oil=5 tbsp
- Ghee = 2 tbsp
- Anise = 1 tbsp
- Cardamom =3
- Cloves = 3, Bark = 1 piece, Biryani leaf = 1
- Lemon juice = 1 tbsp
- Basmati rice = 2 cups

First, take 500 grams of prawns in a bowl, add 1 spoon of ginger garlic paste, 1 spoon of turmeric powder, 1 spoon of chilli powder, 1 spoon of coriander powder and required amount of salt and mix it and soak it for ten minutes. Boil the mixed prawns in a pan on medium heat for five minutes.
Then pour oil and ghee in a cooker and when dry, add cloves, brinjal leaves, cardamom and aniseed and fry until golden. Add onions and green chillies and saute.
Then add ginger garlic paste and mint and saute. Then add tomatoes and saute till it gets soft. Then add chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and biryani masala and saute. Add the boiled prawns to it and saute with required amount of salt.
Boil it in oil for a while and then pour 4 cups of water for 2 cups of rice. Add two cups of basmati rice washed and a little lemon juice. Then close the lid and let it whistle for two or three whistles and add a little coriander mint ghee and stir. Now the delicious prawn biryani is ready.
