Prajwal Revanna : The Karnataka government has written a letter to issue a corner notice order against Prajwal Revanna, who fled abroad after being accused of sexual harassment.
The Special Investigation Team is investigating a sexual complaint lodged against former Prime Minister Deve Gowda’s son HDrevanna and Revanna’s son and Karnataka Hassan constituency MP Prajwal Revanna. A total of 4 cases have been reported including 2 cases in Hassan area police station and 2 cases including human trafficking in Mysuru police station.
Arrest – absconding:
Revanna’s assistant Satish has been arrested earlier. A case has also been registered against HDrevanna’s wife. It is said that Prajwal Revanna fled to Germany. Revanna and his wife are also said to be absconding.
Investigation at Revanna house:
The Special Investigation Team, which has intensified the investigation into the sexual complaint filed by 2 women at Hassan Police Station, today went to Revanna’s house with the complainants. The women are being interrogated by video recording in all the rooms there. Further, the investigation team is also checking electronic items including computer in Revanna’s house.
Brajwal in Germany:
In this trial, Prajwal Revanna was summoned twice to appear before the trial. But Prajwal avoided the presence of the inquiry team and fled to Germany without a visa on his diplomatic passport. The Karnataka State Government, which is very serious about this matter, has now made a request to the Central Government through mail.
Blue Corner Notice :
The Karnataka Government has written to the Central Government to issue a Blue Corner Notice to trace Prajwala, who has fled abroad, through the International Investigation Committee (Interpol).
By issuing a Blue Corner Notice, Interpol will locate any wanted person in any country and provide information in that country. It is to be noted that after that the wanted person is brought to the wanted country with the help of the fleeing country.
