Chennai: 2 boys and a tailor shopkeeper have been arrested in Villivakkam area on the complaint of sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl for 6 months.
An incident in which an 11-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a relative boy and another person, including his friend, in the area under Villivakkam police station in Chennai has caused great shock in the area. It seems that the girl’s parents, who are addicted to alcohol, are not taking proper care of the girl. Those people who have used this have been sexually harassing the girl.
A female relative who came to see the girl took her to a nearby private hospital when she found out that the girl was ill. It is revealed that the girl was sexually assaulted there. It was later revealed that this brutality had been going on for about 6 months.
Following this, the Villivakkam Police registered a POCSO case at Chennai Villivakkam Women’s Police Station and initially arrested a tailor named Kumar in the area. After that, the investigation revealed that the girl’s grandfather’s son, a 16-year-old boy, and his friend were also involved in the incident. Later they were also arrested.
