For the past few years, the mobile industry has become increasingly popular with foldable and flip smartphones. Mainly the youth and the customers belonging to the business sector are showing more interest in it.
Currently, popular companies like Samsung, Motorola, Oppo, OnePlus and Xiaomi are releasing new models in this segment. Now Apple is also gearing up to compete in this segment. It is also reported that Apple is designing two Flip type models in the initial phase.
When will the Apple Fold / Flip iPhone be launched?
So, will Apple launch a new Fold/Flip phone soon after the iPhone 16? Do not come to the question. Apple is planning to sell these models which are only in production design at the end of 2025.
Therefore, we can expect this Apple’s Flip/Fold smartphone to be introduced to the market in 2026. Also, reports suggest that Apple may be planning to manufacture a model at its factory in Asia.

Apple decided to make the Fold smartphone in 2028. But due to some technical issues, Apple put the development process on hold in 2020. Also, the Apple engineering team is trying to design the display in such a way that no grease (line) occurs on the display during Fold/Flip smartphone use.
Thus, there is a chance that the Apple Flip smartphone will have the best flat display ever. Likewise, Apple can’t be trusted to release a Flip phone for sure, and it’s likely to hold back anytime soon.
