Aptitude Test of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu
Accordingly, the notification for the academic year 2024-25 has been released. The exam will be held on Sunday 21st July. Steps are being taken for interested students to participate. In this case, school headmasters should collect the details of the students who will study 10th standard in the academic year 2023-24 and who will study 11th standard in the academic year 2024-25 and prepare for the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Aptitude Test.
Details of students
These should be uploaded through School Education Department website www.dge.tn.gov.in. The last date for this was said to be June 26. But due to insufficient information from various schools, the deadline has been extended. Accordingly, you can upload the details of the students writing the Aptitude Test on the above website till July 3rd. The responsibility for this has been entrusted to the respective headmasters.
School principals are busy
More number of students than last year have been requested to give proper instructions to apply. Currently, the head teachers of secondary schools are busy in this work. With 6 days to go, more than 80 percent of the schools have uploaded the details of the students. Following this, some guidelines have been published regarding the maintenance of bank accounts for government schools.
Integrated school education program
There are more than 31 thousand primary and middle schools in Tamil Nadu. Among these, welfare schemes are being implemented under the Integrated School Education Scheme. Separate bank accounts should be opened to maintain funds for this along with proper budgeting and allocation. These are maintained by the respective schools. Some schools handle fund allocation matters through more than one bank account. This is likely to cause administrative problems.
A separate bank account is required
So in the notification issued by the Department of Elementary Education, separate bank account is mandatory for integrated school education programs. It should not be combined with a general bank account. Only these two bank accounts should be primary. Any funds in other bank accounts should be transferred immediately to the school’s general bank account. Headmasters have been advised to carry out these in a proper manner.
