Partial cancellation of major trains:
Due to track maintenance works between Tiruvarur Karaikal in Trichy Railway Division, services of trains including Trichy Karaikal TEMU Train, Karaikal Trichy Passenger Train Karaikal Bangalore SMVD Express Train have been changed.
A press release issued by the Trichy Railway Divisional Office has stated that under the Trichy Railway Division, track maintenance works are being carried out between Tiruvarur and Karaikal.
In this case carriage no. 06739 Karaikal Tiruchirappalli TEMU train leaving Karaikal at 14.55 (except Mondays) will be partially canceled between Karaikal Thiruvarur from 7th August to 31st tomorrow. This train will start its journey from Tiruvarur at 16.15 hrs.
Train no. 06457 Karaikal.- Tiruchirappalli JN passengers departing Karaikal from 07.08.2024 to 31.08.2024 (except Mondays) at 13.00 will be partially canceled between Karaikal and Tiruvarur. This train will start its journey from Tiruvarur at 14.15 hrs.
Train no. 16530 Karaikal – Bengaluru SMVT Unreserved Express Karaikal from 07.08.2024 to 12.08.2024 at 04.50 will be partially canceled between Karaikal and Vrudhachalam. This train will leave Thiruvarur at 10.45 am,” it said.
