Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to file his nomination papers as the deadline for filing nominations is May 14. In this situation, Ayyakannu, the president of South Indian River Conservation Farmers Association from Tamil Nadu, is said to be contesting against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

More than 120 farmers headed by Ayyakannu left Trichy for Varanasi this morning to file their nominations on Monday. 120 people had booked Kanyakumari Banaras tickets for this. It is said that only 40 people have confirmed bookings and the remaining 80 people are on the waiting list.

In this situation, it is said that the tickets of 40 people whose reservation tickets were confirmed were also in the waiting list and the ticket inspector asked them to get down. Passengers also alleged that there was no water in the train compartment. Enraged by this, when the farmers reached the Tanjore railway station, they suddenly got down at the railway station, blocked the train and started protesting by lying on the ground.

On getting this information, police and railway officials rushed to the spot and held talks with the farmers. The Railways then promised to take steps to provide water and take necessary steps to ensure travel tickets for all. After that the farmers left for Varanasi in the same train after abandoning the protest.

Meanwhile, due to this protest, the train was delayed for about 2 hours. Due to this, other passengers traveling in this train were seriously affected. They complained that they were unable to reach their destinations on time. This caused commotion in the train for some time.
