Bajaj is going to launch the world’s first CNG bike on July 5. Before that, Bajaj has released a preview video of the CNG bike. Only the shape of the bike is visible in it. Also, Bajaj has shown some parts of the bike.
So far, various companies have launched cars that run on CNG fuel. But for the first time, Bajaj is going to launch a new CNG fueled bike. As it is a new venture many people are eagerly waiting for this bike.
Preview Video of CNG Bike:
In the video released by Bajaj, the engine of the bike has been shown in detail. Also shown is a switch on the handlebar. Two symbols CNG and Petrol are placed near the switch. So, it looks like a switch between CNG and petrol fuel.
Along with this, only the shape of the bike is shown at the beginning and end of the video. It seems to have circular headlights. Also this CNG bike seems to have a very long seat. The new CNG bike looks similar to the CT 110X bike with a longer seat in a shade.
What is the highlight of the new CNG bike?
Bajaj’s highlight of this CNG bike is low running costs. This is what the company keeps presenting whenever it mentions about this bike. As we know the running cost of petrol powered bikes is high. However, the running cost of a CNG bike is said to be 40% to 50% less than petrol bikes.
Features of Bajaj CNG Bike:
This bike has one petrol tank and one CNG cylinder. The petrol tank is expected to have a capacity of 5 liters and the CNG cylinder is expected to hold 4 to 5 kg of CNG fuel.
Although it is a commuter bike, it is expected that Bajaj has given it the look of an adventure bike, judging by the spy shots. Bajaj may have tried this way to give commuter customers the feeling of riding bikes with bigger engines.
It is expected to be launched as a 125cc bike. However, it is expected to have the same performance as a 100cc commuter bike. Therefore, Bajaj may try to compensate for the performance by offering additional facilities elsewhere as much as possible. Most importantly the 100 km mileage per kg of CNG will be the main talking point of this bike. Bajaj should give it. Only a few days left. Let’s see accordingly.
