Mari Selvaraj has said in a recent interview that Vaazhai movie will answer such criticisms against Mari Selvaraj.
Banana is a film directed by Mari Selvaraj for Disney Plus Hot Star. The film is based on Mari Selvaraj’s biography. The movie also stars Kalaiyarasan, Nikila Vimal, Divya Thuraisamy and others. Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music for the film. Theni Iswar has done the cinematography for this. The film is slated to release on August 23.

Speaking about this, Mari Selvaraj said, “Banana movie is the movie I wanted to direct in my life. Those who insulted me during the film Mamannan came to me and apologized after watching the film Banana. Banana movie will be the answer to the question of why I am directing a certain type of cinema,” he said.
