Bangalore in just 1 hour! The Indian Railways is preparing to run Bullet Trains after the Vande Bharat Express trains.
India’s first bullet train to run between Mumbai-Ahmedabad The works for this are currently going on in full swing. This bullet train is expected to start running by 2026.
Following Mumbai-Ahmedabad, one more bullet train will be operated on Chennai-Bangalore-Mysore route.
Various new information has been revealed regarding this bullet train project which is considered as a milestone in the history of South India. This bullet train project will be implemented for a length of 463 km. Since it is not possible to run this bullet train on the existing tracks, a separate track will be laid for it. More features are planned including flyovers and tunnels. Just like separate flyovers and tunnels are laid for metro trains, this bullet train will also travel on a separate route.
The route of this bullet train will pass through the 3 states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. 132 km in Tamil Nadu, 73 km in Andhra Pradesh and 258 km in Karnataka will be constructed for a total distance of 463 km for this bullet train.
The distance to be constructed in this mine is about 30.50 km. is 2.50 km in Chennai, 12 km in Chittoor, 14 km in Bangalore Urban and 2 km in Bangalore Rural. A total distance of 30.50 km of subway line will be constructed. It is said that this bullet train will stop at a total of 11 places. They are Chennai, Poontamalli, Chittoor, Kolar, Kodahalli, Whitefield, Baiyappanahalli, Electronics City, Kengeri, Mandya and Mysore.
This bullet train will be capable of traveling at a speed of 350 kmph. But for safety reasons, the train will run only at a maximum speed of 320 kmph. You can go from Chennai to Bangalore in about 1 hour by this train. At the same time, you can go from Bangalore to Mysore in just half an hour. Overall travel time from Chennai to Mysore is just 1.30 hours.
