The countries most visited by Indians are Nepal and Bhutan. Indians do not need important documents like passports and visas to visit these countries. Due to this, Indians visit these countries in large numbers. But both the countries banned visiting these places during the Corona period.
That ban has now been lifted after several years. However, Samdrup Jongkhar, the land border between India and Bhutan, will be reopened from September 23.
After 2.5 years, this border area will be re-opened so tourists can visit Bhutan by land and enjoy the natural beauty of the country.
In addition, it seems that two more border facilities are located in the same area and thus congestion can be avoided. It has also announced that the entry fee tax here will be used to improve the facilities in the border area.
Tourists must have voter ID card for this tour and it is better to carry additional documents.
The Government of Bhutan has prepared a package system including many places to show the tourists coming here and they can visit all the places if they pay the total cost of the trip.
Those who want to see more places apart from these places will be shown around for them if they pay 1200 rupees extra. Unlike India, Bhutan is a country surrounded by mountainous regions. Their economy depends on tourism there.
The country, which was hit hard by the Corona virus, has now recovered with the influx of tourists. Especially during Corona, the Government of India has given a huge amount of help to that country.
Bhutan has always been a close friend of India. As this country is situated in the Himalayas, it is always full of natural beauty.
Not only family tourists from India but also bike riders visit Bhutan in large numbers. Bike riders visiting the Ladakh region can once again explore Bhutan with similar mountains and natural beauty.
