Meanwhile, to give water to the birds, Pandiarajan, a sparrow enthusiast from Bothanur area of Coimbatore, has been pouring water in small tanks at various places in Coimbatore.
Regarding this, activist Chitukuruvi Pandiyarajan said that he has been giving importance to bird species since his childhood and in the current summer heat, humans need a lot of water to drink. If they need water, they buy it from shops and drink it. But birds cannot do that.
Keeping this in mind, he has been keeping water for the birds at various places, and also appealed to everyone to save the bird species by pouring water for the birds in small vessels on the terrace of their homes or in the round wall area.
