BMW X7 Signature Edition: What’s New
Some cosmetic changes have been made to make the exterior and interior stand out.
The exterior gets cosmetic updates like crystal headlamps with Swarovski glass-cut crystals, aluminum satiate roof rails, LED tail lamps with new interior graphics and a smoked glass cover for the chrome bar that joins it. This special edition model is available in BMW’s signature Tanzanite Blue and Dravid Grey.
BMW X7 Signature Edition: Interior cosmetic updates
The interior of this special edition model has been given exclusive leather for the instrument panel. Along with the Alacandra cushion, unique crystal door pins are also provided. When it comes to amenities, a dual curved display including a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display is given.
Along with this, the facilities like head up display, BMW intelligent personal assistant, panoramic sunroof are also given.
BMW X7 Signature Edition: Powertrain
As mentioned above there is no change in the engine. However, this Signature Edition is only available in xDrive40i guise.
This variant gets a six-cylinder, 3.0-litre turbo petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This setup is capable of producing 381hp of power and 520Nm of torque.
With the help of this engine, this luxury SUV reaches 100 kmph in 5.8 seconds. Also, this engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and comes with all-wheel drive.
BMW X7 Signature Edition: Price and Competitors
BMW has launched the X7 Signature Edition model in India at a price of Rs 1.33 crore. The standard X7 xDrive40i model is priced at Rs 1.30 crore in India. This special edition model has been launched at an additional price of Rs 3 lakh.
The X7 model competes with other three-row SUVs like the Mercedes GLS, Volvo XC90 and Audi Q7 in India.
