This project of ours will be implemented with the support of people in Tamil Pradesh. Its base of operations is the Northern and Eastern provinces and the hilly and southern regions. These regions have the need and need for the proper implementation of this program of ours. Considering the social benefit and importance of this project, there are people living in diaspora and social forces who should support and contribute to it.
All those who are interested in the development of knowledge and the creation of a healthy society will participate fully in the practical movement of this project and it will be a great work and contribution that we can do together in today’s era. In this way, Sri Lankan and foreign academics, social knowledge, cultural workers and social activists are another part of this contribution. On this occasion, we request everyone to actively come forward and take responsibility as action plan promoters. It is a collaborative process. With social development and human development, this program has another opportunity for us to unite people, communities and regions and move forward as one on our common ground.
On 21st, 22nd and 23rd of this month, this program will be held as a three-day event at Vellawatha Saivamangaiyar Kazhagam Mandapam. These events will promote the concept of ‘Books, Reading, Writing, Dissemination’ such as book fairs, workshops, lectures, art events.
Many publishing houses in Tamil Nadu also participated in the book fair. Sri Lankan publishers are also participating. There is also a separate theater for Eelam writers. Arrangements have been made for Eelam writers and researchers to display and sell their books in this arena. In this programme, speakers from Tamil Nadu will tell stories, Bhava Chelladurai, writer Perumal Murugan, Carnatic musician T.M. Krishna, world-renowned Tamil researcher Dr. Venkatachalapathy, publisher Kannan Sundaram and academics from Sri Lanka are also participating.
In the workshops, researchers, writers, artists and publishers from Tamil Nadu participate, while educationists and writers from Sri Lanka participate. People from different parts of the country also submit research papers on the state of the country.
The project is being implemented by the London-based registered social organization Manutham. The sluice system integrates this. Other organizations and individuals in Sri Lanka can partner with this project. All interested parties in the sector are invited to attend this three-day event. This is the most important scientific and cultural gathering to be held in our Tamil language platform after a long time.
