Can sleep only from 10 to 6 at night… AC, new rule for sleeper coaches!

Indian Railways has changed the rules for sleeping in AC and sleeper coaches. Under these new rules, commuters can only keep Middle Perth open between 10pm and 6am. In fact, keeping it open for a long time causes problems for passengers sitting in the lower berth.

Railway sleep time

If you too travel long distances by train, this news will be useful for you. Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, the Railways changes the rules from time to time. Recently the railway administration has changed the sleeping time of the passengers in the train. According to the new rule, the sleeping time of passengers in trains has reduced as compared to earlier. Earlier passengers could sleep up to 9 hours during their journey. But now this time has been reduced to 8 hours. According to the new rule, you can now sleep from 10 pm to 6 am. Earlier this time was from 9 pm to 6 am.

10 to 6 hours of sleep is good

This rule is enforced in trains with sleeping facility. This change has been made by the railways to make the long-distance passengers travel more comfortable. The time between 10 AM and 6 AM is considered optimal for sleep. Before this rule came into effect, commuters who were sitting in Middle Perth complained of falling asleep early at night and sleeping until the wee hours of the morning. This causes problems in sitting on the lower seat. There is often a dispute between travelers in this regard.

The new rule will save passengers from trouble

Now that the sleeping time is set, travelers need to wake up by 6 am anyway. According to this rule, passengers can keep Middle Perth open only from 10 pm to 6 am. In fact, if it remains open for a long time, commuters in the lower berth face inconvenience. Before or after this, passengers can stop sleeping by opening the seat.

It is necessary to lower the middle berth at 6 am. Also, you have to switch to a lower seat. Failure to do so may result in action being taken against you. According to the new rule, passengers holding reserved tickets traveling in the lower berth cannot attempt to sleep in their seats before 10pm or after 6am. Passengers who violate these rules can lodge a complaint with the Railways.
