In this situation, the Oragadam police station received a series of complaints that the mobile phones of the workers living in the Vallam area were being stolen. On the basis of this, the police arrested Chandan Mukapparta (24) who was from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, who was roaming around Vallam area on suspicion.
Cell phone shop
On questioning him, police said that along with a friend named Chippun Pera (24) from Odisha, he was earning money by selling stolen cell phones in Oragadam area at two cell phone shops in Oragadam and a cell phone shop in Tambaram.
5 people arrested
Following this, the Oragadam police arrested the above two persons and the cell phone shop owners Mahesh (29) from Oragad, Chandana Ram (24) and Mahesh (41) from Tambaram and sent them to court custody and seized 15 stolen cell phones.
