The summer heat in Tamil Nadu was increasing day by day. Many places recorded temperatures above 105 degrees. Especially in Erode, Salem, Namakkal and Vellore region, maximum temperature up to 110 degrees was recorded. Due to this people were paralyzed inside their houses. People were severely affected.
In this situation, it has started raining in various places of Tamil Nadu for the last 10 days. People were happy as the summer rains have eased the heat here and there. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain for 5 days in Tamil Nadu.
Heavy rain at some places and light to moderate rain at some places for 5 days in southern districts of Tamil Nadu Chennai Meteorological Department said. An atmospheric low circulation is prevailing over South Kerala and adjoining areas.
Due to this, heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places in Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Theni, Dindigul, Virudhunagar, Thenkasi, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari districts today. The weather department has said that the same situation is expected to continue till the 14th.
As far as the temperature is concerned, the maximum temperature till the 14th is likely to be close to normal in many places in the inner districts of Tamil Nadu and 2 degrees Celsius to 3 degrees Celsius above normal in a few places.
