The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission System conducts the admission process for engineering colleges under Anna University in Tamil Nadu. More than 2 lakhs applied for engineering this year. The certificate verification work for them is currently going on.
In this situation, there will be a change in the engineering counseling process this year, Education Counselor Suresh Sitharaman said. In this regard, in a video published by him on his YouTube page, engineering counseling will not be held in 4 rounds this year. All are to be held at the same time in one round. An official announcement regarding this is expected to be released soon.
So students should prepare accordingly. Choice filling should be done keeping in mind which college will get their cut off marks. Rank, last year status, difference in cut off, how many colleges seats have been increased etc. should be taken into consideration for choice billing.
