Chennai : Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai has questioned why no action has been taken against the Minister of Liquor Prohibition and Ayathirva as around 50 people have died due to counterfeit liquor.
On his X site page, he shared a video of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin’s speech in July last year and said that due to the DMK government’s action, the brewing and selling of fake liquor has reduced drastically, he was not only reading a letter of appreciation to himself, but also made a vain advertisement that inspections would be conducted every week.
The aim of the research conducted by them is that today we have lost 55 lives due to counterfeit liquor. Even after all this, the Chief Minister is keeping silent without taking any action against the concerned minister.
Many families would not have come to the middle of the street today if they had shown a little concern in arresting and disabling our brothers and sisters who are protesting against the administrative incompetence of the DMK.
Without any further delay, the only moral duty of the Chief Minister would be to sack the Minister of Liquor Control and Ayathir. Will Stalin?” has raised the question.
