Chennai: The results of Tamil Nadu general examination for class 11 students have been declared recently.
Director of Directorate of Government Examinations, Sethuramavarma, announced the results of the 11th class public examination at Prof. Anbazagan Educational Complex in Chennai. The Department of School Education has announced that the exam results will be sent via text message to the mobile number registered by the students who have written the exam.
Passing ratio of male and female students
The results of the 11th class public examination have been released by the school education department today. 8,11,172 students appeared for the exam, out of which 7,39,539 passed. Out of 7534 higher secondary schools appeared for the examination, out of which 1964 schools achieved 100% pass. Specifically, 241 government schools achieved 100% pass rate. Out of 187 inmates who appeared for the exam, 170 have passed.
Students are top
91.17% passed the 11th class general exam. 3,35,396 (87.26%) out of 3,84,351 students appeared for the exam, 4,04,143 (94.69%) passed out of 4,26,821 out of 4,26,821 students.
Female students (7.43%) passed more than male students in class 11th. Also, out of 8221 differently-abled students, 7,504 (91.27%) passed.

In the published results of the eleventh general examination, maximum 3432 students scored 100/100 marks in computer science examination. Physics – 696, Chemistry – 493, Commerce – 620, Economics – 741, Accounts – 415, Mathematics – 779, Tamil 8, English 13 scored 100/100. 8418 people scored 100/100 in any subject.

The results of the 11th general examination were declared today at 9.30 am. In this, 85.75% of government school students, 92.36% of government-aided girls’ school students and 98.09% of private self-financed school students have passed. 91.61%, 94.46% in bi-sex schools and 81.37% in boys’ schools.
