Similarly, in Chennai, there are incidents of cows roaming on the roads hitting the public and motorists. Also accidents happen due to cows lying on the road. Accidents also occur as cattle encroach on the roads.

Licensing for cow sheds
In this situation, it has been reported that the new rule that it is mandatory to obtain a license for cow sheds in Chennai is going to come into effect from June. Cattle owners can apply for the license at the Corporation Zonal Office.
