Forgery: Arrangements have been made for cremation of the bodies of those who died of intoxication.
The poisoning incident has shaken the entire Tamil Nadu. As 39 people have died in Karunapuram area of Kallakurichi district so far, the Tamil Nadu government has ordered the appointment of district officials and separate district officials to look after the arrangements for the burial of their bodies.
Moreover, the authorities on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government are also making arrangements to bury the bodies of 29 people from Karunapuram at one place.
At present, the work of incineration is in progress. Officials and relatives have visited Karunapuram to cremate the bodies.
In the meantime, Udhayanidhi Stalin visited the bodies of those who died after drinking poison liquor and offered condolences to their families and also gave a check for the relief amount announced by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin to the families of the deceased.
