Delhi High Court gave a shock to Arvind Kejriwal.

The Enforcement Department is investigating and registering a case of illegal money exchange in the liquor policy of the Delhi government. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal did not appear despite being summoned 9 times for investigation, accusing it of revenge politics by the BJP.

Following this, the enforcement department raided Arvind Kejriwal’s house on March 21 and arrested him. He was detained for a few days and interrogated. Even after his arrest, Kejriwal did not resign from the post of Chief Minister. Aam Aadmi announced that he will lead the government from jail.

Meanwhile, Kejriwal was granted interim bail from May 10 to June 1 to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. At the last stage, Kejriwal’s plea seeking extension of bail on medical grounds was rejected. As a result, he surrendered in Tihar Jail on 2nd June. The Aam Aadmi Party alleged that he had lost up to 8 kg.

In this context, Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail by the Rose Avenue Court of Delhi on the 20th. He was also directed to pay one lakh rupees as bail. Against this, the Enforcement Department filed a case in the Delhi High Court. The High Court, which had granted an interim stay on bail in the case, deferred judgment in the case.

The case came up for hearing today in the bench of Justice Sudhir Kumar Jain. At that time, the judge, the trial court judge did not properly examine the documents of the enforcement department and did not properly examine Section 45 of Illegal Money Transfer. He said that bail was granted without proper investigation. Also, the judge issued a swift order upholding the ban on Arvind Kejriwal’s bail.

The Aam Aadmi Party said, “We do not accept the decision of the High Court. We will fight this judgment in the Supreme Court. The order of bail cannot thus be stayed. The Supreme Court also said this yesterday.
