DMK govt passing time without increasing the salary of government doctors is a big betrayal to them – Seeman

"Where are the LTTE?"- Seaman barrage of questions!

Naam Tamilar Party chief coordinator Seeman has said that the DMK government’s delay in increasing the salary of government doctors is a betrayal of them.

In the statement he issued in this regard, the human community is praising doctors as gods who walk before their eyes because of their noble work of saving lives by providing timely treatment for diseases faced not only by humans but also by animals, birds and aquatic creatures. It was the medical profession that saved human lives from many epidemics in the world. Especially in Tamilnadu, government doctors have saved the affected people with their dedicated hard work day and night from the corona epidemic to the current cases of counterfeiting.

Today (Jul-1), which is being celebrated as Doctors’ Day across India, I am very happy to express my congratulations and appreciation to all the brave doctors who are trying to save people’s lives! It is the prime duty of a good government to protect the admirable medical giants who are compassionate and kind hearted. But it is very painful that the doctors who are fighting every day to save lives continue to suffer for years to protect their rights in Tamilnadu. Just like the previous AIADMK government, the current DMK government has refused to fulfill the long-standing demands of the government doctors, including salary hike, as the situation has not changed even after the change of government.

Seaman

The DMK government, which came to power with a promise during the elections that they would pay the government doctors if they come to power, is not listening to their demands even after three years of assuming power, and passing the time is a betrayal of the doctors. Even after the High Court has insisted several times on the need to give an appropriate salary hike to the government doctors, and after the medical giants have led various protests for it, it is not acceptable for the DMK government to get away with it without paying the appropriate salary.

Therefore, realizing that the 18,000 government doctors in Tamil Nadu are the backbone of the well-being of crores of poor and needy people, in order to respect the generous donation of honorable medical giants, the DMK government, as announced in its election promise, hastened to fulfill all the reasonable demands of the government doctors, including the immediate provision of four pay slips as per Executive Order 354. I am insisting on behalf of the Naam Tamil party that it is necessary
