Chief Minister Stalin is planning to hold a Tribhu festival in Coimbatore as a thanksgiving ceremony after the DMK got a big victory in the Lok Sabha elections.

Before the Tribhu Festival, this Tribhu Festival is going to be held on June 15 at Coimbatore Codicea Arena as a preview ceremony. In the century of our great leader the artist, useful projects in his memory, useful buildings erected in his name, the tribute we as his brothers and sisters can pay him is a forty-forty victory in the parliamentary elections. I, as one of you as the president of the association, was looking after the preparations for the election every day. Siblings, your works were such that my thoughts were fulfilled. We have achieved this tremendous success because I and you were in the work of quickly correcting it and ensuring success, even if there was a slight contraction or fatigue in some places. We have dedicated it to our legendary leader artist.
During a meeting with the media at Anna Vidyalayam on the day the election results were announced, they told me, “We did not expect a complete victory of forty to forty.” “I was expecting,” I told them. As I, one of you, addressed the gathering of members of Parliament and members of the Rajya Sabha of the winning party, I requested you all to stand up and applaud in recognition of your tireless work, brothers and sisters.

I notice that some people in the opposite camp are asking what is the benefit to Tamil Nadu from a forty-forty victory when there is no chance of participating in the Union Government. It’s not a question, it’s a lament of their failure. As is well known to those who believe in parliamentary democracy and are familiar with the rights granted by the Indian Constitution, the widespread success of the All India Alliance, including Tamil Nadu’s Forty-Forty, is a rein for those in power.
