Chief Minister Stalin is planning to hold a Tribhu festival in Coimbatore as a thanksgiving ceremony after the DMK got a big victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
In this regard, Chief Minister and DMK leader M.K. In a statement released by Stalin, “I, one of you, the brothers and sisters of the great artist, are asking that the Tribhu Festival will be held only in the month of September. The Kazhagam will be tireless in its work to hold the Tribhu Festival in September, the Dravidian month that celebrates Father Periyar’s birthday, Perarirjar Anna’s birthday, and the day when the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam was founded by the Theers. Our life leader Muthamizharinagar Kalainan started the tradition of giving awards to hard working senior executives.
Before the Tribhu Festival, this Tribhu Festival is going to be held on June 15 at Coimbatore Codicea Arena as a preview ceremony. Is this a festival only for the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam; Not just a party for its fellow parties; Festival of the people of Tamil Nadu! A celebration of thanksgiving for the great success they have given us! The people of Tamil Nadu have given us forty-forty to lead the country by curbing sectarian politics – protecting democracy and the Constitution.
It was passed in the meeting of parliamentarians of the association held on 8th June in Coimbatore to celebrate that victory, the centenary celebration of the life-long leader artist, who is the force that drives us to travel on such a path of success, and to express my appreciation to one of you who is responsible for leading the 40/40 great success coalition. Based on the decision, the association’s general secretary Annan Duraimurugan has announced that the three-day festival will be held in Coimbatore on June 15. As soon as the announcement was made, the club administrators started preparations for the ceremony.
In the century of our great leader the artist, useful projects in his memory, useful buildings erected in his name, the tribute we as his brothers and sisters can pay him is a forty-forty victory in the parliamentary elections. I, as one of you as the president of the association, was looking after the preparations for the election every day. Siblings, your works were such that my thoughts were fulfilled. We have achieved this tremendous success because I and you were in the work of quickly correcting it and ensuring success, even if there was a slight contraction or fatigue in some places. We have dedicated it to our legendary leader artist.
During a meeting with the media at Anna Vidyalayam on the day the election results were announced, they told me, “We did not expect a complete victory of forty to forty.” “I was expecting,” I told them. The reason I hope so strongly is because of the hope that you, the artist’s siblings, will surely bring about this complete success. The Coimbatore Triennial is a festival where I, as one of you, accept the appreciation of each of the siblings who have contributed accordingly. It is a festival to appreciate the hard work of Kazhagam Siblings.
Admirables are siblings. People of Tamil Nadu are grateful. India can look back on the work done by the Tolama Party leaders, its administrators and volunteers who stood shoulder to shoulder for the complete success of an ideal alliance.
As I, one of you, addressed the gathering of members of Parliament and members of the Rajya Sabha of the winning party, I requested you all to stand up and applaud in recognition of your tireless work, brothers and sisters.
The sound of the hand is the foundation for the voices of the organizations that will be heard in the Parliament! According to the words of the great scholar Anna, ‘Go to the people’, the Kazhagam siblings met the people together with the comrades and highlighted the fact that Tamil Nadu has been cheated by the union government in the last ten years and that the Dravidian model government has implemented programs that benefit every family in the last three years and have achieved this complete victory.
I have emphasized in the meeting of members of the association parliamentarians that the successful members of the Lok Sabha should hold thank you meetings in their constituencies and prepare themselves to speak in the parliament as the voice of the people and listen to and fulfill the demands of the people of their constituencies.
I notice that some people in the opposite camp are asking what is the benefit to Tamil Nadu from a forty-forty victory when there is no chance of participating in the Union Government. It’s not a question, it’s a lament of their failure. As is well known to those who believe in parliamentary democracy and are familiar with the rights granted by the Indian Constitution, the widespread success of the All India Alliance, including Tamil Nadu’s Forty-Forty, is a rein for those in power. Defense shield of Indian democracy.
It was the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, which participated in the 1957 general elections and had only two members in the Lok Sabha, that took an oath from the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to save not only Tamil Nadu but all non-Hindi speaking states from the clutches of Hindi domination. That pledge taken by DMK’s parliamentarians is the bulwark that protects most states from Hindi dominance even today.
In 1962, Anna’s slogan in the Rajya Sabha of Parliament, ‘I belong to the Dravidian race’, was the first powerful voice for state rights. BJP today is a continuation of that single voice. Voices of right are heard even from ruling states. Realizing the strength of such a parliamentary democracy, the subsequent moves of the India Alliance will now determine the future direction of the country.
Our success in Tamil Nadu has given hope not only to the India alliance but also to Indian democracy, so the tri-party ceremony to be held in Coimbatore with the participation of our comrades party leaders is going to be a grand democratic celebration. The people of the West Zone have realized the true condition of the parties who have cheated the people there and sought political gains, thinking that the West Zone is their territory. That is why the Tribhar Festival is held in Coimbatore
Club conferences, general meetings, victory celebrations are not just gatherings. Every event is a training ground for siblings. Preparatory work for the next field. We are going to face the by-election of Vikravandi constituency after the Coimbatore Jubilee Festival. We have to ensure our continued success there as well. Following that, there is the rural local body election field. Above all, we need to get ready for the 2026 assembly elections right now. In the recently concluded parliamentary Lok Sabha elections, we have won all 40 constituencies including Puducherry, and out of 234 assembly constituencies out of the 39 Lok Sabha constituencies of Tamil Nadu, the India Alliance led by the Kazhagam has won 221 constituencies. This is the credential given to us by the people of Tamil Nadu!
We are trusted by the people as the three-year Dravidian model government schemes have brought direct benefits to every family in Tamil Nadu. The Dravidian Model Government’s achievements will continue to strengthen that confidence. Each of you brothers and sisters should act as those who can properly go to the people and explain its long-term benefits.
Let the 15th of June Coimbatore be an inspiring place to ensure victory in 200+ constituencies in the 2026 assembly elections, just like the 40-forty victory in the parliamentary elections! Let the club win in all fields!! Policymakers must gather to shake Cove.”
