Director Cheran has given the best films in Tamil cinema and won the National Award for Best Film and Best Director three times.
Director Cheran is a National Award winner for his 2000 film Vetrikkodi Kattu, followed by 2004’s Autograph and 2005’s Tavamai Tavamudhundu.
Director Cheran hails from Melur, Madurai district. His father Pandian is a cinema theater operator. Cheran’s mother is a primary school teacher. Cheran has two sisters.
