Railway Track Maintenance Works:
Express trains from Chennai to Bengaluru and Mysore have been canceled due to track maintenance work between Bengaluru Cantonment railway stations.
Southern Railway provides train services from Chennai to various parts of Tamil Nadu and neighboring states like Kerala and Karnataka.
Express trains to Bengaluru, Mysore cancelled:
In this situation, from time to time, major express trains running on this route are usually canceled due to maintenance work. In that way, currently trains from Chennai are canceled due to track maintenance work between Bengaluru train.
Dates of cancellation:
A press release issued by the Southern Railway on Wednesday said, “The track maintenance work is going on between the KSR Bengaluru and Bengaluru Cantonment railway stations. Therefore, the train service passing through that route has been changed.
In this case the mail express train from Bangalore to Chennai Central is train no. 12658 is canceled on July 2, 9, 30 and August 6, 13 and Marummarka on July 3, 10, 31 and August 7, 14.
Also Cauvery Express from Chennai Central to Mysore will be canceled on July 1, 2, 8, 9 and in the return route on July 2, 3, 9, 10. Also Garudatri Express train running between Tirupati-Chennai Central will be canceled on July 2 and 9 on both routes. Similarly, the express train from Samraj Nagar to Tirupati via Jolarpet, Ambur, Gadpadi will be canceled on July 1, 8 and Marumargam on July 29.
