Virudhunagar: Cracker factory fire is a frequent occurrence in Virudhunagar district. Tragical incidents of workers losing their lives are becoming a regular story.
A fire broke out this morning in a private firecracker factory owned by Mahadevan at Bandhuwarpatti near Chatur in Virudhunagar district.
3 rooms were destroyed in this fire. Also, it has been reported that 3 workers who were involved in the pre-production of firecrackers died tragically.
The fire department who came to know the information are now actively engaged in rescue operations. Revenue department and police are investigating the accident at the spot.
